Girlfriends and Boyfriends just rocks so hard. How many bands can have this much range, for so long, and do it so well? Their sound is always fresh, their sound tight. This album sounds more “retro” than Fallacy of Fairness, but then again some of the songs _were_ recorded 10+ years ago. Post-punk… new wave… goth… synthpop… straight punk ala The Buzzcocks… creative melodies like The Smiths… and their instruments just have “that tone” paired with Grant’s voice. Buy this now.
